YouDJNow Bridge
Tiny helper app that runs in the background. Sends dancer sets straight into VirtualDJ — no dragging, no folders.
How to install (60 seconds)
- 1Download the .zip for your computer above.
- 2Unzip it, then drag YouDJNow Bridge.app into Applications.
- 3Open YouDJNow Bridge.app. macOS may show the normal "downloaded from the internet" popup — click Open.
- 4Click Test connection below. Green check = you're done forever.
Mac security note
The old .command / Terminal script install has been removed because macOS treats it as unsigned and may force Security & Privacy approval. Use the signed YouDJNow Bridge.app download above instead.
If a Mac still sends you to System Settings, delete that download — it is the old unsigned helper — then download this app zip again.
What the Bridge does
- Runs quietly in the background on port 17890
- Writes .vdjfolder files directly to VirtualDJ's MyLists folder
- Auto-updates itself when a new version ships — one click, no re-download
- Never touches your music files or sends anything to the cloud
Don't want to install anything?
The Bridge is optional. Without it, YouDJNow still works — you just drag the generated .vdjfolder files into VirtualDJ's MyLists folder manually (takes about 5 seconds per set).
